About the Role
We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Programmer to support precision manufacturing operations. This role involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathes to produce high-quality parts and components. The position requires strong knowledge of Mazatrol and Fanuc controls, technical expertise in machining processes, and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes to fabricate precision parts according to specifications
  • Optimize machining processes using Mazatrol programming and Fanuc controls
  • Perform regular quality checks with bore gauges and other precision measuring instruments
  • Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to review and implement design modifications using SolidWorks
  • Conduct troubleshooting, adjustments, and minor repairs to maintain machine performance
  • Support plastics injection molding processes when required
  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure reliability of equipment
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment following all safety procedures

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Programmer, CNC Machinist, or related role
  • Proficiency in operating CNC lathes, milling machines, and EDM equipment
  • Hands-on experience with Mazatrol programming and Fanuc controls
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Familiarity with SolidWorks or similar CAD software for design interpretation
  • Skilled in using precision measuring tools such as bore gauges, calipers, and micrometers
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced expertise in Mazatrol programming and multi-axis machining
  • Experience with plastics machining or injection molding processes
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and repair skills
  • Prior experience in a high-volume precision manufacturing environment
